This is a film I made my junior year at NYU. It’s my most ambitious film to date: I had a crew of about 15 people, I cast real actors (a big step from directing your friends!), I shot on 16mm color film, I had original music written and recorded for the score (by the amazing Emily Gu). It’s not my favorite thing I’ve ever done, but I learned a ton making it and overall I’m really pleased with how it turned out.
A film I made while working on a farm outside of Stuttgart. Summer 2010.
The song is the only thing I didn’t do myself. It’s called Second to Numb by the Kings of Convenience.
A film from my sophomore year in college. Shot on black and white reversal film and edited by hand (!).
A film I made freshman year of college. Shot on 35mm stills.
